Carly is my oldest daughter who is studying pre-med in college. She is hoping to go to medical school soon. When she is not studying, which is rare, you can find her reading Christian fiction. Carly does an excellent joy reviewing the books she reads. I love having my daughter Carly post her book reviews on this blog. I hope you can tell as I do that she has a passion for Christian Fiction, writing, and most of all a heart for God. Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” You can read all her book reviews on my blog at:
When she is not studying or reading, she enjoys cooking. Even though it is rare to have Carly in the kitchen, I treasure every minute we are together. She is extremely creative and organized, which makes for a great cook. This is her Spicy Honey Mustard Sauce recipe that we enjoy on many things. It is really good to dip chicken or vegetables into. It is also great on sandwiches or salads. This honey mustard sauce is sweet with a very little kick. You could always decrease the cayenne pepper or leave it out if you do not like a little spice.
Carly’s Spicy Honey Mustard Sauce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 TB spicy brown mustard
- 3 TB honey
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper ( decrease the cayenne to 1/8 tsp or less if you do not like things spicy)
Blend all ingredients together. Store in an air-tight jar like a mason jar in the refrigerator.
I pray each of my Posts will bring Glory to God. I love hearing from you. Please leave a comment and subscribe on the homepage for e-mail updates of new posts.
