Silver Dollar City-Harvest Festival

Silver Dollar City's Harvest http://recipesforourdailybread.com/2012/09/29/silver-dollar-city-harvest-festival/

Silver Dollar City’s Harvest festival is a wonderful way to celebrate Fall.

If you have followed my blog for very long, you know our family loves to go Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO.  They have festivals throughout the year to celebrate different seasons.  I have two favorite festivals at Silver Dollar City and they should not be

missed.  These festivals include HARVEST FESTIVAL and OLD TIME CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL.  I cannot think of a better way to celebrate fall than walking around Silver Dollar City with a cool breeze blowing and observing all the sights and sounds that Harvest Festival has to offer.  Instead of just telling you about it, I wanted to show you.  So, this post has by far the most pictures I have ever added.  I hope you get to see that Silver Dollar City is a great place to celebrate fall during The Harvest Festival.  I in no way get paid to talk about Silver Dollar City.  I just truly love it!  I have links at the bottom of this posts to some of my other posts about Silver Dollar City.

My other favorite Festival (Christmas) starts in November to December 30.  You would not believe the lights inside the park.  Every inch of everything is covered in lights.  It really is breathtaking and extremely beautiful.

I LOVE the scarecrows! They are so adorable. I have a couple hundred black walnuts in my backyard. Guess instead of throwing them back into the woods for the squirrels, I will make black walnut taffy.
