If you are looking for a quick, easy, chocolaty, and very delicious cookie recipe using a cake mix, this one is for you.
Use any color food coloring to add color to these cookies. Try red and green for Christmas and Orange for fall.
These cake mix sandwich cookies are so easy to make.
You can whip these cookies up at the last-minute and still impress everyone. They are similar to a whoopie cookie. I color the icing to match the theme, party or season. These cookies are pretty if you leave them white and add some colored sprinkles on the edges too. We truly love these cookies. They have become a family favorite which means everyone loves to help bake them and eat them. I follow the basic recipe for Duncan Hines Cake Mix cookies and then add this yummy filling made with Marshmallow.
I used a 1 tablespoon ice cream scoop. Bake 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Cookies will be soft to the touch.
