The burgers at Big Orange Burgers in Little Rock are not your average burgers. We celebrated my twin boy’s “17th” birthday on August 28th. They both wanted a BIG BURGER. So, we decided to eat at Big Orange. We were not disappointed. The burgers are made with 100% Black Angus Beef. It is rare for me to find a good quality tasting burger patty with delicious toppings. Big Orange definitely has both which is why my family really enjoys their burgers. As much as I could rave about their burgers, I could rave even louder about their garlic fries. Oh, how they are so tasty. The garlic butter drizzled all over the fries makes these fries one of the best fries I have ever had. I was surprised that a burger place would make great tasting other sandwiches like their blackened fish sandwich and their fried chicken sandwich. Both of these sandwiches also ranked really high in my book. Everything that came to the table was seasoned well and hot.
I did experience two things I did not care for while eating at the Big Orange but because my meal was over the top, I can live with it. The chairs are terrible!! The worst chairs I have ever sat in anywhere in my entire life. They are small hard metal frame chairs. I feel like they truly went cheap and wanted to get us in and out. The other issue was the noise level. It was by far the noisiest restaurant I have ever experienced. It was so noisy that our waitress had to lean way over the table to take our order. She could not hear.
Leave room for dessert. The shakes are so flavorful. I am not sure what they put in the shakes but they are truly indulgent. They are as flavorful as a Gelato. We will be back to the Big Orange simply because the food was something to talk about. The burgers are a little pricey but well worth it. If you want a great burger, great fries, and a great milk shake, try Big Orange. Do not say I did not warn you about the noise and the chairs.
