Broccoli Salad with Bacon Recipe

Broccoli Salad with Bacon Recipe

Broccoli Salad with Bacon Recipe

I have tried many Broccoli Raisin Salads over the past 20 years but this combination is my favorite.  If you need a good Broccoli Salad recipe, try this combination I tweaked using Broccoli, Craisins, shredded carrots, crunchy crumbled bacon, chopped red onion, and sunflower seeds.  I use mayonnaise, sweet honey, and a little lemon juice for the dressing.  YUM! YUM!  I really enjoy the combination of the sweetness of the Crainsins, the red onion, the salty crunchy bacon and sunflower seeds with the broccoli.  Who wouldn’t eat their broccoli in this salad?  I would eat this all the time.  Try this Broccoli Salad and see if you call it the Best Broccoli Salad.  If you have another version that is better, I truly want to try it too.Broccoli Salad with Bacon http://recipesforourdailybread.com/2013/09/05/best-broccoli-with-bacon-recipe/

I also add cauliflower to this salad, and use cider vinegar, sugar and miracle whip for the dressing.

    Robin,

I cannot believe I have not caught that before now. I must have looked at the picture quickly when I was typing and thought the carrots were cheese. I normally put cheese in everything, but this Broccoli Salad with Bacon does NOT have cheese.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I truly appreciate your support.

    Blessings,

    Linda,

What is Offerdahl’s? Is that a restaurant? Thanks for stopping by and commenting on this salad. This Broccoli salad is one of my family’s favorite salads.I love the idea of using Balsamic Vinaigrette. I have a couple other salads using a Balsamic Vinaigrette and they are delicious. I may have to try it.

Love the sound of this salad! It ‘s similar to one I like to get at Offerdahl’s but the addition of broccoli is brilliant. This would be good with a balsamic vinaigrette as well. Thanks for sharing on Wonderful Wednesday.
