Kaboom Town in Addison, TX is one of our favorite place to visit on 4th July.
Kaboom Town has over 400,000 people in attendance each year. It is the largest fireworks display in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and worth a trip to see them. Kaboom Town has been rated one of the top places to watch fireworks by the American Pyrotechnics Association, USA Today, Travel and Leisure, and The Wall Street Journal. It not only has an amazing fireworks display but an incredible vintage airplane show before the fireworks. See parts of both in the below video.
The 4th July is always lots of fun in Branson. Silver Dollar City is the theme park in Branson and totally decked in Red, White, and Blue. This year it has even more patriotic decorations because the theme for 2015 is “Celebrate America”. They have patriotic music and not to mention the huge variety of patriotic treats to eat. If you plan a trip to Branson, be sure to check out our favorite snacks inside the park here. Besides visiting Silver Dollar City, we enjoy visiting Branson Landing, which is a large shopping outlet that sits on the banks of Lake Taneycomo in downtown Branson. Branson Landing has a Fire and Water show every evening, but it is especially spectacular on the 4th July. If we are not at the Branson Landing, we are checking out the fireworks display that Chateau on the Lake, which overlooks gorgeous Table Rock Lake in Branson. Table Rock Lake is a spectacular lake and home to the Branson Showboat Belle.
