This Italian Chicken Tortellini Pasta Salad is super easy to make.  It has lots of flavors, and you can eat this salad hot or cold.

What is in this Pasta Salad?

This Tortellini Pasta Salad includes Chicken, Tortellini, garlic, Italian seasoning, tomatoes, cucumbers and Italian cheese.

I made this chicken tortellini pasta salad using baked chicken breast.  I season the chicken with garlic and Italian herbs before baking it.  After cooking the chicken, I cut it into bite size portions.  Next, I tossed it with cheese stuff Tortellini, cherry tomatoes, Italian cheeses, a bottle of Olive Garden Salad Dressing.  I then topped it with Parmesan cheese.  Below, you can see a picture of the salad dressing and the Tortellini I use.  What makes this pasta salad quick and easy is Olive Garden Salad Dressing.  It is one of our family’s favorite dressings.  You can easily find this dressing at Wal-Mart or at least at my Wal-Mart.  I guess you could say this Chicken Tortellini Pasta Salad is semi-homemade since I use a bottled dressing.  It may be semi-homemade, but it is indeed Simple and excellent.

Another great benefit of this Tortellini Pasta Salad is you can prepare it ahead of time.   I always have a pasta salad in the refrigerator to eat before, during, or after baseball games.  You never know what time we will eat, but we always have something delicious waiting for us.

  1. Hi Diane, Just saw the recipe for “Italian Chicken Tortellini Pasta Salad”. Can not wait to try this and a few others I saw I want to try. I do have a question. When you say you sprinkled the chicken with Italian Seasoning and Garlic, is that garlic salt or garlic powder? Thanks so much and will let you know how it turns out. Keep the delicious recipes coming and have a wonderful weekend and God Bless You. 🙂

  2. Love all your recipes and have tried a lot of them! I have a special request, please.
Would love for you to add my youngest daughter, Tara Stokes, to your prayer list. She is having back surgery tomorrow, (Thursday). She has had pain for 31/2 years and so wants to get some relief! L-4 and L-5 are bone on bone and very painful. I know you are a praying Christian. Thanks, love you!

    • Bobby,

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. It is terrible to have back trouble. I pray that tomorrow’s surgery will go extremely well. I pray that that God will be able to use the doctors to correct the problem in her back. I pray that she will heal completely and without any pain. I pray that she will have many many more decades of life pain free. In JESUS NAME! Amen!

Thanks for letting me know about your daughter. I truly will be thinking about her tomorrow and will send up prayers.
