If you enjoy taking a bath or a shower in the evening, this Lavender Sugar Scrub is for you.
The smell of lavender will help you relax. Lavender is known as a calming and relaxing herb and is used for insomnia, anxiety, depression, and natural stress relief. I have not tried lavender for health reason, but I do know it helps you relax. To make my bath water smell great, I love adding about ten drops of lavender essential oil. I found my essential oils at an organic food supply place, but I have also heard that some Walgreens carry them. essential oils.
What is a Sugar Scrub?
A sugar scrub gently exfoliates your skin and leaves it soft, smooth, silky, and smelling fantastic. It smells good enough to eat. To make this sugar scrub super soft, I used Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, and Vitamin E. I have been taking Vitamin E for my hair and nails. Because of extreme dry cuticles, I have also been breaking open the capsules and rubbed the oil around my cuticles. Because it makes your hands so soft, I decided to try Vitamin E in this sugar scrub. Vitamin E helps make hands feel super soft. I broke open a few capsules, 1000 IE strength, for a teaspoon full and added it to the sugar scrub. Recently, I found out that you can purchase Vitamin E oil in the liquid form too. This sugar scrub turned out even better than I thought it would. You may want to try my other scrubs: Peppermint Scrub, and an Orange Sugar Scrub too.
If you need an inexpensive gift that smells amazing and leave your skin soft, try making this Lavender Sugar Scrub.
