Sugar scrubs make your skin super soft and they are easy to make. This Orange Sugar Scrub Recipe make your skin super soft and smells amazing.
My father grew up in Florida. He loved oranges, and so do I. It is just something refreshing about the smell of oranges which is why I cannot get enough of this Orange Sugar Scrub Recipe. This scrub reminds me of my father who passed away over 20 years ago. It reminds me of all the stories he told me about growing up in Florida, picking oranges and working as a teenager in the orange factories.
What is a Sugar Scrub?
A sugar scrub gently exfoliates your skin and leaves it soft, smooth, silky, and smelling amazing. It smells good enough to eat. To make this sugar scrub super soft, I used Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, and Vitamin E. I have been taking Vitamin E for my hair and nails. I have also broken open the capsules and rubbed the oil around my cuticles to help with extreme dryness. I decided to try it in this sugar scrub. I think that is the secret to how soft this Sugar Scrub makes your hands feel. I broke open a few capsules for a teaspoon full and added it to the sugar scrub. I was so excited how this sugar scrub turned out I made a Peppermint Scrub, a Coconut Scrub, and a Lavender Scrub too. If you need an inexpensive gift that smells amazing and leave your skin soft, try making this Orange Sugar Scrub Recipe. You can see the Peppermint Scrub here.
- 1 cup white Sugar
- 1/2 Coconut Oil (Do not heat oil up. It will soften)
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1/4 teaspoon Peppermint Essential Oil
- 1 teaspoon Vitamin E (I break open capsules)
Stir together all the ingredient well.
