First: layer in this Apple Dump Cake Recipe
After spraying a 9 x 13 baking dish with a cooking spray, dump two cans of apple pie filling in the bottom of the baking dish. Spread the apple pie filling out evenly.
Can you use other pie fillings to make this Dump Cake?
Yes, you can, but the spice cake mix may not go with other pie fillings. A yellow cake will go beth with different pie filling flavors.
Cake Mix Layer

Add a bag of Heath Bar pieces on top of the Spice Cake Mix.
Can you leave off the Heath Bars?
Yes, you can, but the Heath bars give you one more layer of texture and flavor.
Add The Pecans
Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the spice cake mix and apple pie filling.
Can you leave off the pecans?
Yes, the pecans are optional, but they do add a nice crunch and go well with apples.
Do Not Forget The Butter
Slice the butter into small slices and place them all over the top of the Apple Dump Cake. Be sure to completely cover the cake with butter.
Bake the Apple Dump Cake
Bake the Cake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Oversee the last 5 minutes and make sure your pecans are not burning.
