SALTED CARAMEL FUDGE MILKSHAKE

Potato chips with hot fudge and salted caramel ice cream topping make the best milkshake recipe.  It is sweet & salty and outstanding.

This best milkshake recipe is guaranteed to put a smile on your friends and family’s faces when you serve it up in minutes.

My favorite things inspired me to make the best milkshake recipe.   Have you ever tried salted caramel ice cream topping?  It is amazing!  I am so addicted that I have been adding it to everything lately.  You can taste a hint of salt in the caramel which makes my taste buds so happy.
BEST MILKSHAKE RECIPEHot Fudge Topping

My all-time favorite ingredient with ice cream is Hot Fudge Topping and one of my favorites is Smuckers.  NO!  This is not a paid post for Smucker’s but I had to share this terrific treat.  To add a little more salt to make this sweet & salty treat the best milkshake recipe, I used some crunchy salty Lays potato chips.

BEST MILKSHAKE RECIPE

Since we eat with our eyes, let’s decorate the entire glass.

  1. After washing a 12-ounce glass spread the hot fudge ice cream topping on the top inch to two inches of the glass around the rim of the glass.
  2.  Next, crush up a hand full of potato chips.  A thicker crunchier chip works best like Lay’s original.  Add the crushed up crunchy chips on top of the hot fudge sauce around the top of the glass.  Press them into the hot fudge topping.
  3. Slightly warm a couple of tablespoons of salted caramel sauce.  About 20 seconds in the microwave.  You want the caramel to drizzle off a spoon.
  4. Drizzle the caramel on the inside of the walls of the glass.

For The Ice Cream

  1. Use a blender to combine the ice cream, milk, and salted caramel just until smooth.
  2. Add the shake to the glass.
  3. Top with whipped cream and additional crushed up potato chips.
