DUCK COMMANDER DUCK DYNASTY CREAM CHEESE PIE

Thank you for stopping by Recipes For Our Daily Bread to see Duck Dynasty Cream Cheese Pie.

It is easy to prepare, and I am going to show you how to make it.

Growing up, I always enjoyed this delicious Cream Cheese pie at Easter.  When I found a similar recipe, Duck Commander’s Cream Cheese Pie, I had to try it.

Duck Commander’s (Duck Dynasty Reality TV Show) Cream Cheese Pie Recipe turned out Great! YUM!!

DUCK COMMANDER DUCK DYNASTY CREAM CHEESE PIE

DUCK DYNASTY CREAM CHEESE PIE

My cousin usually prepared this Cream Cheese pie at our family gatherings when I was growing up.  After watching Duck Commander Recipe DVD find Duck Commander’s Crawfish Pie recipe, I found this Cream Cheese Pie.  It brought back memories of how much I enjoy this pie.  We had huge family gatherings at my aunt’s house every Easter.  This Cream Cheese pie was always on the dessert table.  I had not had it in many years and could not wait to taste it again.

Miss Kay Version Cream Cheese Pie

I was not disappointed after making Duck Commander’s version of Cream Cheese Pie.  Instead of making a pie, I made eight individual ramekins.   Miss Kay from Duck Commander made a pie in her video.   Her recipe turned out delicious and just as tasty as I remembered it to be.  This Duck Commander Pie is a very easy to prepare pie using a no-bake cream cheese layer with a can of pie filling of your choice.

Where did I get my Recipe Video?

I purchased my Duck Commander’s Recipe Video while visiting Duck Commander’s Gift Shop in Louisiana.    While living in Louisiana, we fell in love with crawfish pies, and I wanted to learn how to make them.  I do not get a commission for this DVD, but I am going to add a link if you would like to purchase a copy.

Allow Time For This Pie To Set Up

This Duck Dynasty Cream Cheese Pie does take time because you will need to allow the crust to cool completely and the filling time to get cold and set.   If you are making a whole pie, you could save some time and purchase a graham cracker pie crust.  You can use your favorite prepared pie filling.  I used blueberry pie filling in the video.  In the Duck Commander Cream Cheese Pie video demonstration, they used cherry pie filling.   I added pecans to my crust and saved some of the crust mixture to garnish the dessert after adding a little Cool Whip.

  1. I have been making this for years. One major difference though. I don’t bake it. Plus I add a tsp of vanilla. It’s soo yummy the pie is gone in a flash.

    • Joanne,

  2. Hope you enjoyed your visit to our little town when you came to visit Duck Commander Warehouse. This is my hometown too! Looking forward to trying this pie whenever I next have company…thx for sharing!

    • Gail,

I recently made this pie in a store bought pie graham cracker crust. It turned out extremely delicious too and easy. We loved our visit to Louisiana. We lived in Mandeville on the north shore of New Orleans for a while. We look forward to visiting Willie’s new restaurant soon.

      Many Blessings,

  3. This recipe was very common in the 1970’s. And came from the Philidelphia Cheesecake Recipe Book. Still have the recipe book and still are great recipes!

    • Judi

I agree that this recipe was popular in the 1970’s. I have an aunt who would fix this pie all the time for family gatherings. She used blueberry pie filling the most. It was so good then and so delicious now.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I truly appreciate it.

      • There is no word print above the ingredients nor anywhere on the page. None zip zero nada!!!!! Also the star rating is bogus, it auto fills 5 stares even if you click on only one star. (not nice) I can’t eat some of the ingredients because they are dangerously man-made processed frankenfoods instead of real/healthy food. Sad.

        • Thank you for visiting Recipes for our Daily Bread. I truly understand my site can be confusing. I am thrilled to say that I am having my entire blog, Recipes for our Daily Bread, redesign. It should help with all my problems. They will get started redesigning it in a week and it will take up to a couple of months but it will be worth it.

  5. What size cream cheese, and will low fat work as well? I didn’t know whether to use the small block of cream cheese, or the larger one.

    • Barbara,

I always use the 8 ounce package of cream cheese. I have not tried the low fat cream cheese. I NEED TOO! I have thought about it several times. I not sure how it would work.

Thanks you so much for stopping by and supporting my blog. I truly enjoy hearing from people who visit.
