Add More Fruits and Vegetables To Your Diet

These Healthy Fruit Smoothies are a great way to add more fruits and vegetables to our diets can be difficult.  It is easier to eat fruits and vegetables if you drink smoothies, but let’s face it. The smoothies recipes below include a Triple Berry Almond Milk Smoothie and a Blueberry Peach Almond Milk Smoothie.  Both of these smoothies are great tasting and good for you.  These smoothies would make an excellent after school snack for your kids or a delicious filling breakfast.

Triple Berry Almond Milk Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups Almond milk
  • 1/2 cup strawberries frozen
  • 1/2 cup blueberries frozen
  • 1/2 cup blackberries frozen

Instructions

  • Add the Almond milk to the blender with one or two frozen berries.
  • Blend well until smooth. Add the other frozen berries.
  • Blend until smooth. If using fresh fruit, add ½ cup to ¾ cup ice.

Notes

If using fresh fruit, use 1/2 to 3/4 cup ice.

  • 1-1/2 cups Almond Milk
  • 1 cup frozen peaches
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • If you are using fresh fruit add 1/2 to 3/4 cup ice.
