NO-CHURN CARAMEL ICE CREAM

This NoChurn Caramel Ice Cream is a simple, must-make treat for the summer.  This sweet treat includes rich salted caramel, salted pretzels, and heath bar pieces.

The basic recipe for No-Churn Ice Cream is easy to make using two ingredients, heavy cream, and sweetened condensed milk.  The trick to creamy ice cream is to whip the heavy cream until it is stiff before folding in a can of sweetened condensed milk.  Salted caramel, Heath bar pieces, and salted pretzels were used to make this no-churn  Caramel Ice Cream.

No-Churn Caramel Ice Cream Ingredients

After making the basic recipe for no-churn ice cream, you fold in salted caramel ice cream topping, Heath Bar pieces, and broken pieces of salted pretzels.  After placing the ice cream in a container, cover the top of the ice cream with additional Heath Bar pieces and freeze overnight.

Step One:  Heavy Cream

Whip 16 ounces of heavy cream until stiff peaks form.   The heavy cream should be very stiff and stick to the beaters.

Tip:

  • Place a metal bowl along with the mixer beaters in the freezer for 15 minutes before whipping the heavy cream.
  • Do not overbeat the heavy cream or else it will turn to butter.

Second Step:  Fold

  • Fold in half of the sweetened condensed milk.
  • Fold in the other half of the can of sweetened condensed milk.
  • Next, fold in the salted caramel ice cream topping.

Third Step:  Add Goodies

Gently stir in the chopped pretzels and Heath bar pieces.

Fourth Step:

Place the ice cream in a container and top with additional Health bar pieces.

Fifth Step:  Freeze

Freeze for 6 to 8 hours.  Overnight would be even better.
