NO CHURN TURTLE ICE CREAM

Learn to make easy, creamy no churn ice cream.  Enjoy this No Churn Turtle Ice Cream without a machine.

The basic recipe for No Churn Ice Cream is easy to make using two ingredients, heavy cream, and sweetened condensed milk.  The trick to creamy ice cream is to whip the heavy cream until it is stiff before folding in a can of sweetened condensed milk.  To make this No Churn Turtle Ice Cream, you add in chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, chopped pecans, chocolate chips, and Rolos.  Chopped or miniatures turtles would be perfect in this Turtle Ice Cream too.

Turtle Desserts Are My True Love

The combination of chocolate, caramel, and pecans do a happy dance in my mouth.   The three ingredients together make my heart sing.

Because turtle is my favorite combination of dessert flavors, you will find several fabulous turtle desserts on my blog.  I listed a few of them here for you.

Inspiration From A Turtle Sundae

My family jokes with me often when ordering an ice cream treat.  They give me a difficult time about ordering a Turtle Sundae and never trying anything else.  A turtle sundae includes vanilla ice cream or yogurt.  Next, it is topped with lots of hot fudge, caramel, and buttery pecans with whipped topping.  To me, nothing is better!  I decided to turn my love for a turtle sundae into this easy no-churn turtle ice cream.

First Step: Heavy Cream

Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

Second Step:  Sweetened Condensed Milk

Fold in half the sweetened condensed milk.

Fold in the other half of the sweetened condensed milk.

Third Step:  Rolos, Pecans, and Chocolate Chips

Gently stir in the Rolos, pecans, and chocolate chips.

Fourth Step: Place in Container

Place the ice cream in a container.

Dollop the hot fudge and salted caramel on top of the ice cream.

Use a fork or knife and swirl the hot fudge and caramel into the top of the ice cream.

Fifth Step:  Freeze

Freeze 6 to 8 hours.  Freezing overnight would be even better.
