If you are like most families leading super busy lives, you probably rely a lot on fast food or pizza delivery for dinner.  You already know eating this way is unhealthy and can get expensive but you have little energy and no time to prepare a meal.  For this reason, many people give up on ever having a sit-down home cooked meal with their families around a table.

You do not have to have a gourmet kitchen, lots of money nor tons of time to accomplish a homemade meal with your family.  Most noteworthy, easy skillet recipes are perfect for a quick and easy weeknight meal.

What will you need to make Chicken Bacon Ranch Skillet Recipe?

To make this skillet recipe you will need Ranch dressing, you can use a bottled dressing, but you should try my extremely tasty semi-homemade copy cat Ranch dressing or Cayenne Ranch dressing.  Both ranch recipes are easy to make.

Once you have seasoned and cooked the chicken breast until it reaches 170 degrees, you simply layer the ranch dressing, cheese, and bacon on top of the chicken.

Ingredients

  • One CHICKEN BREAST
  • Add One tablespoon oil
  • Teaspoon each salt pepper, garlic
  • Two tablespoons of your favorite Ranch
  • Two slices cheddar cheese
  • Two slices bacon cooked

Instructions

  • Bake the bacon in the oven.
  • First, line a cookie sheet with foil completely covering up the edges.
  • Add the bacon to the pan
  • Cook 375 for 20 - 25 minutes or until the doneness you prefer.
  • In a skillet, heat up the oil
  • Cover the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and garlic on both sides.
  • Cook on both side until the center reaches 170 degrees.
  • Layer the ranch dressing on top of the chicken breast.
  • Next, add the cheese.
  • Top with cooked bacon
  • Cover with a lid for a couple of minutes until cheese is melted.
  • Enjoy!

    Wow, it looks truly terrific! I’m a fan of bacon, basically bacon + eggs are the breakfast I ate for like 20 years. I don’t come from a rich house, so it was the cheapest and simplest breakfast to prepare! I really love your recipes by the way and I have set my goal to try them all!
