SIMPLE MEXICAN SAUCES AND DRESSINGS SPICE UP YOUR FOOD

Mexican food is so easy to make and perfect for busy moms to prepare.  Therefore, I often fix a slow cooker full of Mexican chicken and make different meals with it all week.  To add flavor to any Mexican meal, try making one or several of these sauces, dips, and dressings.

FIRST OF THE SIMPLE MEXICAN SAUCES AND DRESSINGS – CAYENNE RANCH

The Cayenne Ranch Dressing below is one of my favorites.  It has a little backend kick from the Cayenne, but it is not hot just full of flavor.  Try using this Cayenne Ranch to dip my Mexican quesadillas.  Most Noteworthy, It is excellent as a spread for a sandwich or as a dressing over blackened chicken or blackened salmon salad.  This Cayenne Ranch is so delicious I used it to make:

SECOND OF THE SIMPLE MEXICAN SAUCES AND DRESSINGS – CHIPOTLE AIOLI

Are you a Chipotle Aioli fan?  We have an Arkansas-based restaurant called Tacos For Life.  I have written about it on my travel blog, Our American Travels.  It is a fantastic company who donates a meal for every meal you purchase.  Anyway, they have a fabulous Chipotle Aioli to dip their quesadilla and tacos in.  We love it so much I made the version below to enjoy at home.  This version is incredibly tasty too.

THE LAST OF THE SIMPLE SAUCES AND DRESSINGS – HOMEMADE THOUSAND ISLAND

This final dressing is different from the other ones in this post.  It is not considered Mexican nor Southwestern.  This Homemade Thousand Island is a milder dressing for all the people out there who do not like spicy food.  I know you are out there.  I have several of them in my extended family.  This homemade Thousand Island is terrific.  It is an excellent choice on a Taco Salad.
