SPICY GUACAMOLE STUFFED AVOCADO

This Guacamole includes chopped jalapenos for a little spice.  For a beautiful presentation and to prevent double dipping, it is served in the Avacado shell.

Spicy Guacamole is something that can be easily served in individual portions which makes it perfect for a party.

Whip Up This Guacamole In No Time With The Following

To make this spicy guacamole you will need, Avocados, cilantro, minced garlic, minced jalapenos, onion, lime juice, black pepper, salt, and cumin.

Bland vs. Spicey Guacamole

I have never been a guacamole fan.  Every guacamole I have ever tried has been bland with no flavor.  I decided to chop some jalapenos up and add them to my guacamole.  After adding the jalapenos, I cannot stop eating it.  It is fabulous!  For three avocados, I added two tablespoons minced jalapenos.  You can add less if you do not like the heat or even leave them out, but you will be missing out on great tasting guacamole.

SPICY GUACAMOLE STUFFED AVOCADO PARTY APPETIZER

FIRST STEP:

Slice Avocados in half and remove the seed.  Save the Avocado shells.

TIP:  Use a large sharp knife and stick it in the avocado seed.  Gently twist the knife and pull the seed out.  The seed should come out easily and attached to the knife.

SECOND STEP:

Use a spoon and scrape out all the Avocado.

THIRD STEP: Mix Everything Up

  • Place the Avocado in a bowl and mix up with a fork.
  • Stir in the cilantro, garlic, Jalapenos, onion, lime juice, black pepper, salt, and cumin.
  • Mix well.
  • Optional: Add chopped tomatoes.

FOURTH STEP:  Back Into The Avacado

  • Place the Guacamole back into the six Avocado halves.
  • Serve with chips.

Ingredients

  • 3 Avocados sliced in half and Avacado removed from shell
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced Jalapeno peppers 2 if you like your food spicy
  • 1/2 small onion minced
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoons cumin

Instructions

  • Slice Avocados in half and remove the seed. Save the Avocado shells.
  • Use a spoon and scrape out all the Avocado and mix up with a fork.
  • Place the Avocado in a bowl.
  • Mix in the cilantro, garlic, Jalapenos, onion, lime juice, black pepper, salt, and cumin.
  • Mix well.
  • Place the Guacamole back into the six Avocado halves.
  • Serve with chips.

Notes

  • Optional: Add chopped tomatoes.

    I happen to love guacamole but never thought to add jalapeño to it. But now I most certainly want to try and may do so for the Super Bowl this weekend. So thanks for sharing and seriously perfect timing!! 🙂
