Crock-Pot Chicken N Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 rigs celery ribs chopped tiny
  • 1 large onion chopped small
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon back pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Poultry seasoning
  • 2 - 12- ounce cans Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 - 12- ounce can of Cream of Celery Soup
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 1-16 ounce cans of refrigerated biscuits cut into fourths

Instructions

  • Spray crockpot with a cooking spray.
  • Season both sides of the chicken breast with pepper, salt, and Cajun seasoning.
  • Add the chicken to the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Add the chopped onion, chopped celery, Cream of Chicken Soup, cream of celery soup, chicken stock, and bay leaves.
  • Cook on low setting for 6 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Remove the chicken and shred into small pieces.
  • Return the chicken back to the crockpot.
  • Flatten each biscuit and cut the biscuits into quarters and drop them into the crock-pot.
  • Put the lid back on the crockpot and cook the dumplings at least a 1-1/2 hours OR until dumplings are done.
