CREAMY CHEESY GRITS
- 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 3 cups milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup real butter 1 stick
- 2 cups quick grits
- 3 cups shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese
- Makes 8 servings
Combine chicken broth, milk, water, salt, pepper and butter in a large saucepan.
Bring to a boil and stir in grits.
Reduce heat and cook QUICK GRITS for 7 minutes, stirring often to reduce lumpy grits.
Remove the grits from the heat and stir in shredded cheese.
Enjoy with eggs or as a side dish for dinner.
