  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped very small
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 7 pieces slice cheese cheddar or Colby
  • 1-1/2 cups BBQ sauce
  • 6 pieces bacon cooked hard and crumbled
  • 2 packs Hawaiian Rolls 9 count


  • Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • While the ground beef is browning, add the chopped onion.
  • After the ground beef is brown, add the pepper, cheddar cheese, bacon, and BBQ sauce.
  • Slice both packages of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontal.  Do not separate the rolls.
  • Place them on a baking sheet or a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Divide the ground beef mixture amount all the Hawaiian rolls.
  • Top the beef mixture with cheddar or Colby cheese.
  • Place the tops of the Hawaiian rolls back on the top of everything.
  • Bake 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until the cheese has completely melted.
